 Pollinator Projects 2021, 2022, certification

Transforming front yards, school grounds, public parks, and pedestrian pathways from grass turf to native flower gardens that help pollinators such as butterflies and bees. The most recent project is transforming the pedestrian pathway between Pilkington to Santamonica into an environmentally-friendly garden that will host native flowers and shrubs, and beautify our neighbourhood.


Earth Day Cleanups 20172019, 2022

Family-friendly cleanups of Massey Creek at St. Clair Ravine and Oates Park as part of Earth Day celebrations. A great way to help the environment, explore our lovely local ravine while participating in a fun outing with the family. Cleanup events include additional activities such as Community Picnics and Creek Pop Can Races. 


Community Events

Environmentally-themed series of artistic activities for families and neighbours of all ages. Events held in the neighbourhood or in the Warden Woods Ravine. Activities are participatory and designed to strengthen our connection with community, nature and creativity. All activities are free. Past events include Harvest Festivals, tree plantings and giveaways. In our latest events "ARTivating our Ravines" and "Fall Discovery Walks" we had over 200 people come out!



Bike Festivals - 201920182017

Bike Festivals in collaboration with East Toronto Cyclists/Scarborough Cycles and officers from 41 Division. Activities have included free bike tune-ups, community bike parades, bike decorating, and rodeos.
