East Effort Community Health Ambassadors Project

A new project called East Effort Community Health Ambassadors has recently launched to help Scarborough residents connect with some of the below services and resources: 

· COVID-19 testing site information 
· Vaccine information 
· Obtaining face masks and hand sanitizer 
· Food insecurity 
· Bills and rent relief 
· Internet and digital devices

Our local Ward 20 Councillor is inviting residents to a roundtable discussion to identify the best ways to support the community. The roundtable will gather suggestions from community leaders, groups, businesses, and the community at large. The Ward 20 Roundtable Discussion will host 5 neighbourhoods (Oakridge, Clairlea, Golden Mile and Scarborough Junction).
