We're on the Butterflyeway Map!

The Danforth Gardens Neighbourhood Association (DGNA) is a proud recipient of a David Suzuki Foundation certificate to acknowledge our work in creating pollinator gardens in our neighbourhood. The certificate means our gardens are officially part of the David Suzuki Butterflyway project. You can find our garden on the map, and more information on this initiative here https://davidsuzuki.org/take-action/act-locally/butterflyway/

Wild pollinators such as butterflies and bees are crucial to human survival. Climate change, development and widespread pesticide use are compromising their habitat and food sources. The Butterflyway Project aims to help people step up efforts to help pollinators find food and shelter.

For this reason DGNA is collaborating on another Pollinator Grant from the City of Toronto. We are awaiting results. Keep your fingers crossed so we can bring more butterflies and pollinators to our neighbourhood!
